Put one gasket on it and make sure everything is flat like the post above says. Did you start it and make sure there is no fuel coming out the boosters at idle?well it seems the darned thing fixed itself. It is running great now and fuel guage barely moved after three hours pulling tube and skier; ripped rope right out of the tube. Just checked a plug and it looks a little lean now. Lost the jets I took out, in the lake, darned beer. I think there may have been something in the power valve seat keeping it open. Or it may just have been stuck in the open position .il I messed with it I jsut don't know other than it works great and I really didn't do anything other than assemble and dissasemble it. This marine holley has the funny screw/spring/screw that hold the bowls and metering plates on, never seen them before this. Looks like it would be difficult to overtighten the bowi since the bowls are held in by a screendoor like springs. Thanks for your help. Oh yea I didn't have anything dripping at idle.
