GM officially announced production starts Aug next year,, first deliveries will be in Jan '09.
If it's anything like GM products in the past, I would recon Jay can take orders and have pricing by mid '08.
They swear the 400hp Corvette motor will be an available option. That's what they said in the announcement.

Why is GM so friggen slow to hit the market with this? By the time they start selling, retro will be out. Musting & Charger have been out for how long??

The interior is awesome. Leather wrapped dash and pod gauges like my 67. I really really like it.

well dodge is still bringing the challenger back soon too. So i guess they think it will last....besides i don't count the charger it isn't like the old..

My caddy's lease is up just in time for this to release. Seriously looking at it depending on how it looks compared to the pictures avail right now.

From what I have seen a nicely equiped Camaro with the good motor is only a couple notches down from a vette price wise.
I loved my 28K 00 Camaro SS and refuse to ever pay 40K for a F-Body.:) :)

The only thing I don't like is the front . It reminds me of the smiley cartoon
cars from the movie 'Cars' . GM , remove the smile before hits the market ;)

My prob is I gotta have a 4 seater cause of the kids. Its either this or the Mustang GT500 in 09 for me. :)
