Nice show. It was great seeing all of you guys there. Thanks for the beer Marcel, I owe ya one. After seeing all the boats there, I still think DCB is at the top of the heap. Those Coles sure looked nice as well along with the Lavey's and Jackasses boat! Shockwave was also impressive and as always, consistent as hell.

"Consistent as Hell" very few changes from previous boat shows.. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif
DCB is at the top of there game no doubt about that, but Hallett is at the "Top of the Heap."
I'll be submitting a full "report" as soon as I get all these pics uploaded to my server.
I only covered 1/2 the show so I'm going back Saturday to visit E-Ticket and a few that I missed.. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

That was cool meeting all you guys. I am all fired up now and can't wait for Elsinore next weekend.
-
RC, I heard a rumor that convention center security took you into custody after they found you hiding in the ski locker of that 29' Shockwave. Did you think no one would find you and you'd get a free ride out of it? http://plauder-smilies.com/eek7.gif
-
Shit. I didn't just want a ride, I wanted to steal that damn boat! Their 29 is a sweet piece with a really nice sized area under the bow. Can you say bow wow wow yippie yo yippie yea... I'd just have to buy a larger truck to pull it, build a larger garage to store it, and dredge the river to be able to use it!

Did you stop and check out that all red Hallet? Good god, if you have that much f'in money, why not share some with the rest of us Terrible H? Do you need a son, I can be bought. I thought only towel heads got rich off gas stations, I am in the wrong line of work. It was quite a piece and the 2 giant K&Ns on the turbos looked wicked.

And Oh yes, I'll be hitting up some people to try and get a ride on that bad boy... http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

If I'm not mistaken, they are into more than just gas. Pretty sure they're also into casinos or other gambling concessions. Big bucks to be sure...

I thought those props were $17K each.

You ever see the movie American Pie 2?
It's very similar to the "Rule of 3." http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif
RD predicts 11,5 for those props.. And I bet I'm not that far off the money.. Besides I got some "inside info" would you like to bet another case of Pacifico's?

BTR, Troy, the youngest Herbst son had that built. Great bunch of guys and they sure know how to have blast.

I don't mind buying Pacifico for any occasion, just not one where inside info in kept on the inside! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif
I still hard for me to believe those dinky props can make that lead sled move! LOL
-
No doubt about it...they know how to play! Every time I see a picture of that boat I just shake my head in amazement, too cool. Could you see that pulling up to the sand bar with a dredge in front of it to clear a channel. Now that would be a site to see!

Some might call those photo's a "***boat Exclusive." http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

OK. What was your favorite boat at the show. Graphics and hull. Doesn't have to be the same.
Boat = DCB 22
Graphics = Either that 22 Ultra with Burgandy on the outside of their display or Boatnam's Lavey
-
After seeing those pictures of the Hallett I can't wait for my TAX returns, I was wondering what to do with the extra money
YA RIGHT!!

Okay, here is the 411 on the Herbst's. Not only do they own MANY gas stations, they also have a few casinos, and also have the contract for the slot machines that get placed in the grocery stores in Laughlin, Pharump, Part of Vegas, etc. When I was out at the Laughlin race in January, I was in their pits for most of the race as a guest, and they have $$$ practically falling out of their a$$. Great group of guys though, very cool. -DD out
