Where is Gordon's Well?Southeast of Glamis, of I-8, about 25 miles outside of Yuma. On the North side of 8 is GW, on the South side is Buttercup.
If you've got the fuel capacity you can dune from Glamis all the way down under the interstate to Buttercup if you wanted to.

Thats not Pattens, thats "Test Hill". Pattens is further north west, just head east at the 5 mile drop off the sand hiway.
