Engine life on Merc 600SCI & 525EFI??

Im considering two totally different boats & each has one of these engines. I don't know much at all about engine life, the last boat I bought was used but only had 15 hrs on it so it was like new (496ho).
Appreciate any information I can get, thanks!

I would say, as an average 500hrs. Lots and lots of variables, but they are both solid motors built with good parts for what they are asked to do.
