I think eggbeaters will win that contest everytime. Esp when you consider there are very few small block jets out there (also very few, if any 450-600hp eggbeaters though). Someone will bring the actual numbers in though.

One thing you have to remember is the Outboard hangs off the back (outside) of a boat. For a jet the motor is inside the boat, so the weight is distributed better then the outboard. I do think a big block and pump would be heavier then an outboard.
