July2-3 will see the surviving Nostalgia flatbottoms race for their first time at Newport Washington right next to Oldtown Idaho. Course will be set just below the Highway bridge. This is a first for us as we run with the AOF and STate Line Idaho hydroplane club. AOF was the first organization to provide us insurance and a home so I think the flat bottoms will put on quite a 'thank you' show. Attrition had run its course with the inboards after two races and my new bullet took 8 hours to simply install cyl heads, 8 head studs stripped out of the block! Team Davis may field two boats with Jimmie driving for his rookie license! Hopefully, the last time he tried he broke the dang crankshaft in two! See you all there unless you made other July 4th plans. Two or three vintage hydros will put on their typical side by side show. This is our last race for the summer until Labor Day at Ione Wa.
