Have the ole Lavey Craft upside down working on the bottom. It has a noticeable hook in the bottom. Starts at the strut and trianglates from there to the out side edges of the transom. The boat does fine the way it is. If I straighten it out what differences will I notice?

You've hit the million dollar question with this one, hummm.

It will become much free-er (sp) and go 10 mph faster depending on the hook.

I will admire and respect anyone who can comment on this without seeing the bottom of this boat.

Almost sounds like more of a gull wing than a hook
Or both
