My wife and I are taking our annual Chicago trip to watch the Bears play at home on Sept. 29, 2003. This year we would love to rent a boat to cruise around the lake in. I called several places in Chicago and you could only rent Charter Boats, is there any place in the Chicago area were I can rent a power boat? Any advise would be great. Thanks for your help and input.

Try looking on yahoo in the yellow pages. Tried that already. The only thing that comes up are Charters only, I called several and they've all told me that no one rents out boats on the lake. I found it hard to believe but looks like they were'nt lying.
you could go to lake geneva. I am sure thay would have rentals.
lake geneva does have power boat rentals so does the chain o lakes. I never looked or seen any on the big lake.......
