Hey all,
I am reasonably new to jet boating and would love some help.
I have an 18' Tahitti which I am rebuilding from scratch. It came with a Jacuzzi WJ pump which I would like to re-use. After pulling down the pump it seems there are some severe score marks around the wear ring area on the impeller. Is this an issue? Can the impeller be reworked? Does anyone have one for sale?
The impeller is a 5 blade, is this stock?

If you have to have a lot of pump work and want to keep this pump, then you have good options.
If I weren't so lazy I'd dig up the HB issue from about 2001 or so that described the classic WJ race mod. Basically, if I recall, you get the pump cut to take a berkley impeller. Was supposed to be a great setup.
The WJ is a good pump. Much better than the YJ.
