Hi All,
I have a low profile Sleekcraft SST.
My bilge outlet sits below the waterline when I have full gas tanks and is suspect for leaking water back into the bilges.
Does anyone know of one way valves for bilge outlet hoses?
Thanks
Evan

Go to your local plumbing supply house and get a gate style check valve. Install it in line and this will take care of your problem.
No real need for a check valve, just loop the discharge hose higher that the waterline.
Lowes PVC check valve, $2.99

There you go, good solution. I would even go to a rubber type hose and clamp it at the outlet. If the cheesy plastic hose fell off, you would take on water AND have no bilge pump :supp:
Cheezy plastic hose?!?!?!!?!? I'll have you know my Taylor is equipped with the finest 4-feet of garden hose ever made in 1978. :D :D
