I am considering purchasing a 96 Ultra 21 with 350 EFI and Alpha. I know Ultra has gone through changes in ownership and staff. Are there years of Ultras to be avoided? What are problem areas.

:cool: Hey, I had an 90 Ultra 21 ft. Great boat. kept it for 8 yrs. Bought it when it was 3 yrs. old. Which model and how much??? Let me know and I will try to help you out. I think Ultra makes a great boat even though my new boat was another MFG.

Thanks for input...have been looking at 96 priced at 21K...will offer less...maybe 19K. Will it handle Havasu during the week. Don't want bigger boat unless absolutely necessary...too much for old guy to horse around by himself.
I just traded my '96 Ultra LX, 454, uh...jet drive last year. My wife was in tears letting it go. Was a great boat. Made a new friend in the guy & his family that bought it. Thet love it too. That was a good year for 'em.
If you are interested I have a 96 22' Magic for sale. It has a 350 MAG w/ Bravo 1 drive, and the standard extras. $17,500. Always garaged out in Havasu.
