I know the new term is winter break. Since when did it become 3 weeks? I was told today that because there is some week long mexican holiday right after Christmas vacation ends the district extended it accomidate the mexican students. Something about most of the mexican parents (and they are the majority at least in most of socal) kept the kids out of school for this week long holiday anyway. Is this true? What country are we living in here? Maybe I'm in the wrong damn state.
