will the city keep the lake open and are their many changes? thx.
last I heard on the news yesterday is that LA County's keeping it open one addl week through Sept 7th, then it turns over to the state. The state will likely close it since they have no money (same reason the county's bailing...no money from the state). Thanx again Gray, yo da man.
One condition would have turned that lake into an absolute gold mine.."User friendly", If that lake were decent to the people that would've supported it, it wouldn't be forced to close. All those bullshit rules to enforce created a need for more enforcers, more cost, and less revenue from people that just got tired of being hasseled. The enforcers did it to themselves, and I hope the county/state puts them in the unemployment line. Just my ranting .02............Moneypitt
read in western outdoor news that the state has given the occupants(people who run the lake concesionare) til sept 15 to vacate.
And yet they are STILL building a new road through a hill to the upper parking lot and a new building at the top of the main launch ramp because it was funded!!!
If the admission money went to the operation of the lake then all would be fine..... but it doesn't!
Hey call Arnold....we'll see what he can do.
I'm sure a 150 MPH crash and litigation didn't help things either!
California...what the hell happened?!?!?

There is no way Arnold can help us. But on the other hand Larry Flynt can do us wonders.
