CASALE V-DRIVE.. 10 or 12 deg?????

Here's my problem. I have 69 draggon craft with a casale split case (split down the middle, not top to bottom). I am trying to find out if it is a 12deg or a 10deg box.. I read an article that said it is stamped on the case, front side to the right (driver's side). There is nothing, ANYWHERE, on the case.. Im not sure how to tell what case it is.. I need to eventually do gears in the boat. Any other way to tell? casting numbers maybe :220v: ? A little help would be great :rollside: !

First two numbers if a 12 are 62, a 10 degree is 61. Your gears could be 12s with or without a degree stamp of 12, All 10 degree gears are stamped 10.

Correct!!! If that doesn't help, split the case and see whatz inside!
On a bare case you can alway use a protractor or a digital angle finder lay it on the bore that is angled while the case sits flat, parallel to the ground and you will get an answer.
