I'm going to rewiring my boat so I need some ideas on location of the fuse block. It is now on the transom with a maze of wires that look like I threw a pot of spaghetti at it. This is a 20 foot cruiser.

For a better idea than the hairball of wires wrapped in tape I used some of this electrical cable.

I'm a distributor for this equipment.
The cable comes with up to 12 wires in a flat cable or up to 36 wires in a round cable.
It's double insulated and it's pretty cheap also.
8 conductor cable is $ 1.25/ft.
I throw away anything less than 20' lengths.
We have it on 500' spools.
If you were closer I'd give you a left over length.
On my boat I used a piece of 8 conductor flat cable. The wires come all numbered and color coded.

You also might want to check out Painlesswiring.com They make some nice kits. I used one to wire up my old jetboat and will use one of their musclecar kits whenever I get my GS going :)

Unchained,
What size is the wire? 10,12,14,16. Am planning on rewiring my jet.
thanks kojac.
You can get it in any gauge up to battery cable size but the two most common sizes we use are,
8 conductor 16 ga or
4 conductor 12 ga
UNchained, Now that looks neet. Is it strand or solid wire? Who is the manufactor? I'll see if I can get some here. Thanks

Thanks Look in the phone book in your area and find someone who's in the overhead crane business and ask them for a length of festoon cable. The brand I handle is Duct-O-Wire but there are several different manufacturers. The wire is fine stranded and very flexible.

79Hawaiian, Is that a wire loom? Who makes it? I can't read the name on the connector.
