Medal Of Valor

Went to our City Council meeting last night and had the pleasure of watching four policemen and two firemen recieve the medal of valor. It was pretty chilling to hear a synopsis of the event and then a recording of the radio transmissions during an "Officer down incident."
Fortunately he survived and was there to receive it, along with those who defended and rescued him.
My hat is off to all who serve, at home and away!

I remember that day..
Glad to hear they received that, very deserving of that award of distiction....
