I saw 2.03 at the Arco about a mile from the house today. Was 2.07 a week ago
BD
Excursion 40 gal. at lets say $2.45 = $98.00
Boat 170 gal. at lets say $2.69 = $457.00
No wonder we like to stay parked and drink $40.00 Vodka.
I saw $1.93 at AM/PM in Havasu this past weekend.
2.15 at the station by work in Ca.
From about 1 1/2 years ago. (http://www.***boat.com/forums/showth...&highlight=gas)
So where is the anger that Burt asked about 1 1/2 years ago?
I find it interesting how the country in general just rolls over without saying a word in any organized manner that could make a difference. At the same time while big oil companies are enjoying record profits and margins.
I call it the numb factor.
What is your take?
That works,
the numb factor sounds better than the dumb factor...
Thanks, Mike. Did you notice that nowhere but here in sunny, SoCal are the prices this high? My local station dropped to $2.259 for regular unleaded today. And tonights news reported record earnings for the big gas companies. We just keep rolling over...
They keep talking about how the prices are consistantly dropping around the valley for the last 3 weeks, but everything I've seen has gone up. Diesel in most spots jumped from $2.09 to $2.26 in a matter of 2 days.
Phuckers, raise the price a dollar and leave it for a while and then we're happy when it drops down $.50. It's all a big phucking get rich scam. Like when the pipeline broke between Phoenix and Tucson (it was all over the news) and propted a huge gas shortage. Guess what?? That pipeline carried ONLY Super Unleaded. Nothing else. But all the stations were all out of every flavor, but diesel. Prices promptly jumped, some places to $4.00+ a gallon for gas. Greedy phucks.
