SSWWEEeeeeT.lakes, are'nt you glad you passed on my sw dragster, you the man now, good job...............2 shay.
I when over and took a look at Lakes new boat, while he was in town. I must say I think he got a very good deal. Good clean boat. Setup very good, and some very nice paint also. It should be wild:D
Spend months asking questions
Spend months looking at ads and making calls/asking questions
Spend months looking at boats over here and way over there
Start calling about this boat (Twisted)
Lot's of pics and detailed emails with seller; it's the shit and I get ready for road trip
Suddenly I get a call and am offered a "sponsored " ride in a v-drive Belmont. I accept.
I call Seller of Twisted and cancel the deal because I got sponsored
I go look at the Belmont...oh boy, needs lots of work
I decide run the Belmont (for seat-time), but after I see it I want my own boat too
Search for the seller's ad for Twisted...the ad is gone
I call the seller; it's off the market, and he will run it again this season
He then agrees to let me have a look, but I have to get my ass up there pronto
I am now short on cash because I thought I had a ride (the Belmont) and I'm stressin' big time...
I scramble up there (cover about 1000 miles in a day)
Boat is the shit, but suddenly we disagree on price (seller does not recall our deal over the phone). I WALK. (Another fruitless trip!)
I cool down and call him back just before getting on the freeway. I return to the boat.
We close the deal for the original agreed-upon price.
I am beat tired and ready to collapse from exhaustion...and I hit the road
Upon crossing into California, I telphone 058. I can tell he's wondering why I'm so short-circuited/fuzzy-headed.
058 tells me to get the **** off the road and into a motel and get some sleep. I drive on.
I barely make it to sanger mike's, unload, take one last look at the boat and pass out cold.
I wake up the next morning and feel it was all worth it.
And this is what one must go through when the right deal comes along. I know many of you have searched long too and gone through the same thing.

Thanks Mouzer,
I looked at your boat right about when I decided that I wanted a second boat to get into racing.
This evolved into the second boat being a v-drive instead of a jet (already got me one of those).
