I can't say how my boat works, been a hanger queen for the last 15 years.
The 10 degree angle box will give your boat a little more forward push vs. a little more upward push with the 12 degree box... Hope that helps...

Do you put any type sealer, like permatex between the Marine-Tex and the component? What is the assembly sequence? Do you allow the Marine-Tex to cure (assuming you are not using any other sealer)...
What number Sikaflex do you recommend? Do you use the same Sikaflex or 3M for installation of other underwater components; shaft log, stuffing box, gas tanks (attach bolts) and strut?
