Nobody knows. Turn the pulleys around and see whatcha get.
if i have a 52 on the bottom and a 56 on top making 4 psi what do i need to make 7 psi?
Nobody knows. Turn the pulleys around and see whatcha get.
the chart says i would be 7% over driven is there any relation of boost versus %of over or under driven
WHAT SIZE BLOWER AND WHAT SIZE MOTOR
iam running a 52 top and 52 bottom thats a 1 to 1 and iam getting 14 lbs on a 498 bbc with a 1071 blower shop
the cam makes alot of differance also
i understand kinda shooting in the dark unkown cam (till this winter) and the only thing i do know is it is a 8.1 to 1 motor with low boost for longivity (the hell with that) wann run it like i rented it till the end of the season> see what she will do
I've found the more overdrive you give it (like in 5% increments). The less total boost you get out of it for each pulley jump.
example:5% over = 5 lbs. total
10% over = 8 lbs. total
15% over = 10 lbs. total
So, I don't think you will know until you try it. Just remember to keep your tune up on the rich side when you add more boost.
mega blower on a 468
Like Fiat 48 says , reverse the pulleys and try it. That would be going from underdriven to overdriven and should make a noticeable difference.
taled to the blower shop today and they said run it 1 to 1 to get 7 psi the swap the other way would have went way beyound the effiency of the blower
