    I need a box anchor for a 28 ft boat,anybody got one they want to sale????????????

    Yep, medium sized box anchor is the only way to go. Drop it in the water (with the rope and bouy attached -- --) and it's sets like right now. Won't let go until you pick it up, then it's easy as pie.
    I've got a 26' and used my medium one at Moabi in the current, never a problem. I used it at Powell last week in the Monsoon / wind capital of the west and no problem there either. Then when I was done, I just picked it up like it wasn't stuck to anything and voila, done...
