Thread: It was a matter of time before.....

    Well... My insurance company dropped me.. starting next month.. I dont think anyone will ins my boat..
    "The maximum speed is an unacceptable coverage risk"..
    Now what?..
    Any ideas?

    What kind of boat is it and how fast does it go? How much were you paying for ins before?

    Markel should be able to do it, just be ready to take it like a man
    If anything does not work let me know and I will get you the number for for first Insurance company in England. They will write anything with worldwide coverage but they are a little pricey

    the problem is that it goes over 100mph and it is less then 25' long..
    its a stoker sst224 with a NON stock hp500
    I would pay for the ins if someone would cover me..

    Damn, I forgot about the sizes and their policies. Good luck and hope you find something decent. I'll dig up the number and have it ready just in case, but hopefully you will not need it. KELLY

    If you are at the river this weekend I'll give you my info.Don't have it on hand now but I also had a hard time finding insurance.
    I know you have more HP and size factor but This company seemed to have no problem with mine at a decent rate.If you call $2400 a year decent. WAs decent compared to all the other quotes I got.

    thanks man.. I wont be out there this weekend.. I have a busines trip I have to take this week.. but I will get in touch w you on that.. I dont mind paying

    Ours is $2700 a year. Who do you go through???
