BTW: I heard it reached 121 degrees yesterday, I thought that info would be important since this is the CBBB weather report thread.

National Weather Service is testing a new product, Flash Flood Potential Index. , check out Saturdays Prediction (http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/Lasvegas/ffpi.shtml) If any storms develop, Looks like the pieces are in place for a good show.

Just got off the phone with a friend in Bullhead. Its hot and humid due to a monsoon last night. She said its been cloudy and drizzle most of the day :frown:

Powerful T'storm east of Barstow. Power poles down and local roads closed. Haven't heard about I 40.

CHP says no abnormal conditions (ie, same old construction) on I-40, and no issues on 62.

Some friends drove through there about 3 pm, 106 degrees, dropped to 66, 40-50mph winds, and golf ball sized hail for a few miles. then sunny and warm again. Be careful if you are driving through there. I am leaving here at 5. See you all there, will have cold beer.
