I have a 75' with a 502 BBC. The engine is fairly mild w/ comp cam, rollers, mild work on heads by Gromm, with 29% gears in the vdrive. The thing that really woke it up was adding a Whipple 3300 intercooled SC. It idles great, and when you put your foot in it, it feels like a much smaller/lighter boat. Room for kids/coolers, and yet fun to drive.
They are good boats and with big power can hull ass. :boxed:
