which exhaust is better for blown 1000hp?

on a 1000 hp blown gas stern drive boat, which exhaust system would make the most torque and horsepower? iMCO POWERFLOW PLUS or basset 2 1/4 in. double wall water jacketed tubes with the longer runners? Also wouldnt the imco be a lot lighter? thanks gary

Yea the imco's are pretty light in reality! The headers would look much better! Is the inside tube actually a 2 1/4 diameter?

The IMCO's would work quite well. We run them on
our race boat's. Also you might want to look into some CMI's.
They have a few different styles to choose from.

Holy Chit! I had a guy out in elsinore build me a custom set with 2 1/4 id that were water jacketed and the whole shabang for $1100. That was plain of course. Then I took them to embee coatings in santa ana and had them ceramic coated for around $400. Oh yeah my headers are 4 piece. 2 headers and 2 elbows. 5 inch collectors that flow down to 4 inch thru transom tips. My business happens to be strickly exhaust gaskets also so I get guys calling me all the time to try products out or to wholesale to them for their headers. PM me if you want some numbers.
