need parts to convert from olds to ford 460..

i have a kona jet boat with a 455 olds.. and i would like to replace it with a 460 ford.. it has a jacuzzi 12wj pump.. anyone have any used nice used parts..

i'm a ford man.. know where lots of 460's are...have worked on lots of 460's.. infact have a 460 out of a jet in the shop right now building it for a customer. and have some 460 go fast parts . olds motors are hard to find around here..olds parts are impossible to find with out costing a arm and a leg

What's wrong with the Olds? Is it in decent condition? How's it equiped?

its trashed.. had sat full of water for 5 years before i bought the boat...had a nodular crank... Ja heads... cast iron intake..and trw forged pistons..could probably be saved.. but olds parts are non existant in these parts..
was a hardin marine engine originally.... boat only shows 122 hours on it.. but it has been very neglected

i would switch too.Around here in ca.460s are everywhere in the junkyards for 120.00 for a long block.I just found a dove block and heads in sept really easily as there were 3 other 460s but i chose the 429 instead.dove block and an extra set of dove heads hum i bet there worth a pretty penny defintely more than 120.00.As for bbcs i have only seen two of them.Should have grabbed them too.
