New motor is on the way. Aluminum heads so I have some concerns over
corrosion. 520 ci Ford with Edelbrock heads. Raw water cooled.
What to you do to keep corrosion in check.

Get the Edelbrock marine heads that have hard anodized H2O passages...
however you will make more power with cast iron heads....

NO WAY. The weight savings alone make the heads worth the purchase price. That coupled with the additional compression you can run with aluminum = More power and even more "seat of the pants" improvement.
All other things being equal, identical Iron and aluminum heads will make the same power.

Got the heads over a year back. Lots of port work now so just getting a new set is not what I want to do.
    Over $500.00 in port work.

IMO if you have them use them.If buying new go iron boats run so cold alm or iron wont make a difference with detonation.Alm offers less weight but corrosion can become a problem. But if for racing only go alm for the weight savings

It's a little extra work, but you can fill a bucket with a mix of water and water soluable oil and with a bilge pump, (like the warm-up set up racers use)or other, run it through your inlet hose untill you get it coming out the outlet. This will work wonders when it's off season, as well. If you do this after every other weekend or so, or if you know your boat is going to sit for a while, you shouldn't have any problems.
BTW...the Edelbrock heads are a great choice for a 460. They have a much better chamber shape than any iron head, and out of the box, will flow better than a ported C9 or DOVE head. With very little work they'll support 800 hp.
