I was just reading the Hot Boat Forum Rules and noticed the following text:
"Avatars. Please limit your avatar to no more than 150 pixels wide by 150 pixels high and no more than 40K for images hosted on the ***boat.com site. If you image is hosted on your bandwidth please keep the image to 135 pixels wide by 100 high and no more than 100k. People on dial-up will thank you. "
Why doesn't ***boat just set the maximum avatar size to 150x150 in the Admin CP?
Why is the resolution lower for people who host their own avatar? Is that a mistake?
