i have seen my engine pulling the fuel pressure down at wot. I bumped the pressure and now when it drops its where I want it.
I have very simular fuel lines and tanks. Good luck.

Info.- Yes, it came with a Mallory 140 electric and a 2 port regulator. Felt at the time mech. was the way to go...sold the kit. Took a better pic. of pump.
Jackpunx- Yeah 9 lbs. with nothing but avgas, no problems yet.
Tom Brown- It seemed to be worse with full tanks, leading me to think it is vent prob.
SuperDave13- That looks like what I need to do with my caps. Each one has (2) 3/16 cavities machined in them, see pics.
    Racer52- You running Aeromotive stuff?
I really would like to try to modify a Clay Smith pump, just need a pic.
Thanks everyone for replies so far!

That looks like a street pump on there, here's what you need and run a bypass!..Also make sure you have adequate venting!..

Yep it looks like a standard 6 check valve pump but with good quality control and a little magic dust.

Shouldn't that fitting on the pump be replaced with a straight and use a 90* bent tube on the hose for better flow!..

You should just call Clay Smith and talk to George about it. He might already have a pump for that. I see mecuriser stuff over there all the time.

SDave- They said they used to modify the arm to work with the seawater pump, but had too many problems with it so they don't anymore. I'm going to take caps off next time I'm out, and stuff rags in fillers and try a balls out run. At least I'll know if it is a vent issue then. If not a vent prob. then I think I will run a log off the pump and separate lines to carb. bowls and see if that helps. I think I have also seen "stacked" seawater pumps with 2 fuel pumps in line. That would be even better. Could run one pump and line for each bowl that way.

Why not go electric and put a std sea pump on??
    less shit to service.
And ya all the fuel stuf is the aeromotive red stuff. havent had any problems.
