the previous owner has the AZ numbers painted on and now i needed to removed them. Does anyone know what i could use to remove these numbers without messin the boat up. One person told me to use oven cleaner. Has anyone tried this or heard of trying this? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Oven cleaner works great. Don't buy the kind that "is better smelling". Buy the old basic stuff. Might take a couple of applications, but works great and doesn't harm the gel.
