I would consider it a custom part, although it isn't for a one-off deal.
I am making a pattern, which is used to produce a plug, in turn is used to cast parts. I think I posted some initial pictures of it awhile back before you could tell what it was.
Unfortunately, as with alot of the parts I make, I have to sign or verbally acknowledge a non-disclosure agreement. I can't really advertise who it is for, or what I am making. I guess I am violating it to a point.
I'm sure you will see it around.
I made it for a custumer who didn't have time to machine it for himself.
