You probably have a temporary number still. Did you just get it set up? It took them almost 4 weeks to get my number ported from SBC. I had dial tone and could call out but my inbound calls still went to my old line.
Go to vonage.com and log into to your account. You can check the status of the number transfer there. Plus, you need to go there and setup your 911 information too.

Hey John. Yes the number has been transfered to our shop. I can get the calls here the phone rings but when I pick it up. I can't hear them and they can't hear me.
