7th Annual Event on Lake Norman at Queens Landing, Hwy 150 Mooresville NC.
September 10-12, 2004
Public Display is Saturday.
Call 800 633 6224 for more info.
Generally they have 50-75 'furniture boats' show up. Also I'm hoping for a good turnout of the Classic Hot Boats in this area. I suspect a couple of vintage hydros this year too.
Anybody game?

That'll be cool
Dave,
Thats something I would like to attend,
love those old wooden boats!
As far as the classic boats go, I have a '78 Sleekcraft Aristocrat
I could bring.

I think this is a great idea. Most of my family is from Salisbury, about 30 mins away. Great area. There's a state park w/ camping @ 15/day.

Y'all come! I'm going to try to call these guys and find out what the wet and dry display situation's gonna be- last year they had the slips set aside for show boats only nearest the restaurant, and a fenced area next to the restaurant where the boats on trailers were located. Don't know if you have to be a member or something to get located into either area.
It would be so cool to have a bunch of classic hot boats there- a friend of mine had his Raysoncraft on dry display, but, hey, they were made to run! Three or four Jersey Speed Skiffs made it last year, and they had a blast cruising up and down the lake, making a few racing style runs down the cove. They sure were enjoying themselves.
Bump bump bump....
How about an update on what you have learned about this event, I deserve a weekend off, after all the crap I've been through the last month.
Beverly and I would like to come down, with or without the boat,
Although I would actually like to polish up and put the boat in the show. Check your PM's..!
