Was gonna go out the weekend, but the semester just started, with that comes the buying of the books & paying dues to the fraternity. Also since today is the first RENT IS DUE. So I'm not doing much of anything this weekend.
Shouldn't be too much trouble finding room in BC this week-end, the ski races are Next week. We're leaving dark-thirty Friday to get a head start on the traffic, but staying all week...
We stayed at the El Rancho Boulder Motel for a week in mid Aug. Because of work, I have stayed at this motel on and off for the last 20 years. This a small family run motel that concentrated on making your stay enjoyable. The staff are friendly & very helpful. The room was immaculately clean and spacious ( $50 - 85 w/kit). They very accommodating to the boating ( Ice, Towels etc.) community. It is a short walk to downtown for lunch/dinner. my .02

This late in the game on Labor day weekend your only hope is a casino. You will have to hope for cancellations.
