I swear I'm going to hold a grammer class on this freekin site. :hammerhea
Ford with a 327? That's no Ford at all! That's BLASPHEMY!
Kim, how you gonna impress a Hemi? :notam:
hense - the fastest ford i have driven !!!!! 327- fuelie headed sleeper - looked like a farm truck - driven like a race car !!! :crossx: funny thing is i kept killing the clutch ... a
I appreciate your compliment, but you have me all wrong!! Ford blue runs through these veins. My first car was a 69 Ranchero w/a factory installed 428SCJ/ C6 (H model servo)/ 3:89 limited slip. I know 385 Ford engines way better than I do chebbys. Just happen to have one in my boat...hey, it's what it came with.
I was going to say 69 Torino, but didn't recognise the tail lights.
Here's my Ford list:
I've had...
1 70 Mustang coupe
1 70 Torino 429 GT
4 69 Mustangs (3 Mach I's)
2 68 fast backs
1 67 fast back
1 66 Galexy 390 GT Special Order (factory black, leather buckets, console)
1 85 5.0 Stang
1 92 5.0 T Bird
2 94 4X4 F150's
1 96 4X4 F250
2 68 F100 Stepsides (pre runner trucks)
and currently have a 97 Expedition 4X4, and a sweet 68 F250 Utility truck for work.
Oh yeah, I did have a 67 ss396 Chevelle (425 Horse)
Sorry my freind I do not see one fast car on this list...... And was not aware of a 425 h.p 67 chevelle.. That 396 was the first BBC installed in a 65 corvette. But I could be wrong!!

I believe you could get a BB in a 66' 325hp, also I thought a 409 was available in more than one chevy in the early 60's.
Chevy had GTO problems back then starting around 64'

A 409...now there was one of the General's finest...when it didn't run over its crankshaft.
For the non-believers.

LMAO!!!!! Dude do you realize that you could still operate the camera while driving in the 1/4 mile! LOL!!!! Come on now you have to have a clue! Every rice rocket believer always wants to pick on "modified" ss cameros or mustang gt's... Kinda funny how you guys never talk about spanking a "honda" civic or suburu yada yada... Like I said I would be happy to wager a little bet on my 1992 f-150 (tow vehicle) verses your drag car! :notam: My mostly stock stang would which is 33 yr old technology is a little overwhelming to try and make a 1/4 mile pass in while holding a camera on my guages...

My stop watch and your camera show a 0 to 95mph pass in approx. 15.5 sec. Sounds to me just like a 92 v-6 nissan/datsun with a little work done to it should.
Funny how the people who talk about us 2-stroke wackers manhood being inadequate, show up in their gay little rice burnners and want respect for a 15 to 18 sec street car.
Do you rice ridders know that in 1963 you could order from chevy a 63' SS Impalla with a 409 making over 400hp that would click off mid 13's then tow the the family 7000lb Air Stream to Wally World.....course you don't, most of you wer'nt even born then.
