I disagree, I think substance is important to Kerry. I just think that he knows he has to hide his substance (as in core political beliefs) behind a phoney moderate image in order to get elected.

Yeah, just like Bush has to hide his conservative beliefs behind a more moderate image to get re-elected. That's why both sides are not coming out against protecting our borders. (Sucks!)
