Come on people. There are only a certain number of combinations that can be created. If you look around at the chart, the symbol that will appear in the crystal ball is shown more then the other symbols.

There are multiple * symbols for example 9,27 and 36
If you choose 35; 3+5=8, 35-8=27
34; 3+4=7, 34-7=27
33; 3+3=6, 33-6=27
You don't realize that you are being brought back to the same number.
