I have a 1979 21' Southwind that I am restoring with a 460 that I just finished building (What a difference). It has a single wire gm style alt. and one battery currently, Would like to install a perco dual battery switch and second battery soon, But want to build new harness first and a diagram of some sort would be great.

it's been awhile, but i put dual batteries and a perko switch in a party barge i used to have .. as i recall the existing battery cables from your motor hooked to terminals on the perko switch, then battery #1 and battery #2 hooked to their designated terminals on the perko switch .. presto, schazam, abbra cadabbra! no new harness required :-)
yes indeed thats the ticket. I have 3 batteries on my cabin cruiser and thats how its done. good luck. Hey bubble deck got one also (tahiti bubble deck)
