help im sinking

ive just bought a 1970 arrowhead hydro made by hondo.....i currently own a 1974 kona jet and a sanger jet , the hydro is just a shell but it was set up to be a v drive , im i crazy thinking i can convert this over to be a jet..... :idea: :idea:
