Youngblood TX 19

My boy just bought a 78 youngblood 468 Chevy ,Berkley JG. It has a basic Oval port engine with 292 cam, single 850 Demon carb. On GPS it shows 74.6 MPH does this sound about right? I'm personally a V-drive owner and know nothing about Jet Boats. :jawdrop:

At what RPM?

Doesn't have a tac but sounds about 5500 Rpm.

The last owner said it had an AB impeller in it.

Tach doesn't work like alot of things on it. It's a winter project and talking to one of the pump rebuilder in Houston he told us there was speed to be had in the intake. Our is stock with the flat bars. He was talking 88 MPH. Sounds optimistic to me but he is well known.
