    Thanks for the compliments guys.
    I'm trying to keep the boat looking like what it is, a 1977 just no orange and wood grain. I'm sticking with the original SW gauges and going to do the interior with rounder looking seats, not square like new boats.
    Next step is new cav plates, my old plates were fixed. I've never set up cav plates before so I will probably be asking you all a lot of questions soon. :rollside:

    how are the howard river crusiers when compared to others such as spectre or sangers think i know where a bare hull in good shape is sitting gelcoat has same lines and the back is identical to yours but cant see the front of it. thanks for any info.

    The Howards are identical to the Spectras. Don't know how to compare it to a Sanger, for one thing the deck is quite different looking. I like the Howard as I have had 2 of them, still have a 83 with a blown 547ci Chevy. They can be made to run over a 100 mph pretty safely.
