What is your RPM range? You don't want too big.
I was reading and enjoying all the good carb info in the other thread, but I don't have a tunnel ram yet. Anyone have any opinions on who makes the best one for oval port Chevys?

Apparently no one's run one on a oval port before.
I know it's too much and a single 850 will probably out perform it. I'm just thinking about fooling around with one. To me the Weiand looks like the best one (#1981).
Edelbrock makes a street tunnel ram for the oval ports, and its a great intake! I was actually thinking of using it on my rect port heads for the runner velocity. It would be way snappy!! It's called the

JUST NEED TO GET IT RUN OVER 5k, I THINK THE EDELBROCK CARBS ARE NOT CUTTING IT THAT I'M TRYING TO GET TO WORK, DRIVABILITY IS GREAT, I WILL GET IT DIALED IN NEXT SEASON AS IT'S OVER HERE ROB....

I believe that one is a edlbrock tr2x I had mine on the boat in my avatar and one of the fricken bolts backed out and dropped threw the valve and into the piston - I mean right into the piston it looked like it was forged right into it - my next tunnel became a weiland with bolts on the outside ... lo

Make sure you're ot mistaking the Victor TR with the Street TR...don't know that I've seen a lot (if any) Street TR's around. There's a lot of Victor TR (rect. port) manifolds.
