Stud girdles - worth it?

OK, we 've talked about gear drives/timing chains, roller rockers. What's your opinion on stud girdles, worth it or not?

If so at what RPM....someone told me no, because we run at such a high rpm for so long that the harmonics of the motor will break the rocker studs, beings that it's so ridget....I don't know? But motor is down for inspection right now, so it could be easly done.

I run one. See pic on the roller rocker thread if you want to check it out. I have a Crane but this is one item that I think the cheep O Chet Herbet is fine. Probe makes a very sexy one.
Like Ray says, Shaft rockers are the shit. But for the rest of us a nice girdle and a good set of rockers will pretty dang good.

Are you running twin turbos, Blower or going with Carb(s)?
