post pics of the underside of 20/21' v drive

can some of you post pics of the underside of 20/21' v drive.
Want to get an idea of what the differences are and why.
example some have a stainless plate where the rudder drops thru. why is this done.
another example my boat has a rounded bottom with strakes running up to the cav plate. does this help or is this for a specific application like say a ski boat.

I'll post some bottom pics later. The plate you are talking about is a blast plate
on high hp boats it keep the prop blast from tearing up the bottom. Get that prop checked lose an ear and you will wish you had.

This is my 21' howard. I has a blast plate, that you can barely because of the Speed Coat. There are a couple more pictures in the image center, don't know if this will help you or not.
