I currently have a 4 chn amp and adding a second to run a 12 inch sub. The amp I am running now has a remote 12v (on/off lead) wire attached to it from the head unit. Can I tap into this wire near the original amp to the second amp so it will turn turn off automatically when I turn the head unit off?
    Thx !

Yes you can. Are you running another set of rca's from the head unit or a line out from your current amp?

While most decks may handle 2 amps run from its remote turn on, I will always use a relay as precaution. You can blow your remote turnon in the deck or worse. Bosch relay is about 5.00, wire and connectors are abuot 8.00 ... cheap precautionary measure
