All the holes are being filled in, including Exhaust, Pick-ups, Fin holes, and Shaft Log. Thanks Superdave for the heads up advise! Should make for only one trip to Prime Marine!

The Bottom will have old strut filled and shaft hole filled. The fiberglass on the inside will be re-inforced up the middle to beef up the area for the new drop-through strut, New Fin, and Shaft Log.

art , what grit sand paper did you start and finish with?
Need to do the floor on my b boat. After you sanded, did you go over with any resign or flow coat to make it nice and clean looking?

    Jon,
The floor never got finished they never flow coated it, the beutiful balsa floor was totally shot, to fix it right it would have had to be ripped out and put all new wood in. The center part is rough also but better than what it was!..To make it "purdy" it would have costed a fortune so I went a different way. I took 80 grit and just grinded the shit out of it, grinded all the rotted stuff out of it, filled all the rotted areas with glass. Then all the holes in the stringers were pluged and covered with a thin layer of cloth so they look like new. Then all the wood area was gelled in red and the rest in black, came out looking pretty clean and since it ain't going to be a trailer queen or show piece, it will do just fine!....BTW, "Serious Issues" did the finish work!..
