I have a cheesy shareware dyno program and I have tryed it several times with my friends cars and my own, it seems to be pretty acurate! Yours came up with about 450 HP at around 5500 rpms! I LOVE THOSE SHORT STROKE BBF'S!!!!!!!!!!!!

let me 1st say I know squat about fords (trying to learn) I ran your numbers also and inputed different style heads and lifters because I don't know fords heres what I came up with all at 5500 rpm.
    439 hp
    stock oval port heads
    small stock valves
    hydr lifters
    481 hp
    stock oval ports
    large valves
    hydr lifters
    529 hp stock oval ports
    large valves
    solid lifters
guess I should start learnin about dem Fords

I have an airflow file for Dyno 2000 that will put you well over 600 hp. It's a real life flowbench test of heads that I ported myself so it's very accurate. I can send them to you if you want. E-mail me your home address and I can send you a burned copy of Dyno2000. It's a little too big to email.

Ok, I just picked up a copy of DTD2000. I'm just a beginner here, but I stuck in some numbers for your ford and got max power from 335 to 425 depending on head choice. Not sure what heads you have (stock, wedge, canted...valve size?) but head choice made a big difference on power and shifted rpm peak between 5k and 5.5k. Got most of your cam stuff in, but not sure that's right either http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif As you can see I'm not really a gear head. But one thing looked clear for the combo's I tried...the slope between 4800 and 5500 was pretty shallow. What that means is you may only net something like 5-15 hp with the impeller swap. 30 hp may be a stretch. Hope it's more...I could be punching in the wrong stuff.
