Anyone have a new body F150? Do you like it? What model did you get. Likes/dislikes. How does it tow?
I had an '01 that I loved. How much better is the new one?

Last month I purchased an 04 F-150 super cab, 5.4 L, Lariat, 4x4, short bed. I'm very happy with it. I used to have a 03 F-250 but it just wasn't economical anymore for myself and MsEduKATor. I still have the same amount of seating capacity better gas mileage, and overall just a solid truck. I've only towed once with it and know I need to upgrade the computer for better torque as well as other upgrades. As far as a daily driver, I can't complain. The body styling is nice and the interior is by far superior to anything I've been in before.

IMO.... I think the f-250 is the way to go, at least that's what I want but it would not be a daily driver for me . I am very close to inking a deal on one right now, it will most likley be a v-10 rebates and them wanting to move the 04's are hard to pass up. As far as the 04's go they look nice and look sweet lifted, just depends how often you tow, I believe the back seats in the superduty have alot more room, good luck.

    cc322,
I agree, the F-250 crew has lots more interior room. My 03 F-250 crew also had the V-10. It towed our 26 with no problem. I towed my brother's malibu and all his gear to wyotech this summer up some good grades and 8-10 hour days driving and never lacked power or had troubles. I had no issues with the towing capabilities. I am getting storage in Havasu so I really don't need to worry about the long hauls anymore, just to and from the storage unit. I was getting 10 mpg highway and around 7-8 towing so the F-150 is just better for me as a daily driver. Not to mention they had an 11K discount on my new F-150.

    riverracerx,
here's some interior shots my F150 super cab. Not alot of storage under the rear seats, and none behind. The f-250 definately had lots of room for crap under and behind the rear seats. The rear seats could be a tight fit if the driver and passenger are tall. Luckily myself and MsEduKATor aren't blessed with the tall gene. The ride is definately smooth and quiet. I know each interior is different depending on the model you purchase, but I just wanted to give you an idea.

Thanks for the pics EduKATor. Looks sweet. I want a white/black Lariat SCrew. The black looks really nice. I just hate the wood trim, but it can be replaced.
This will be a daily driver, so the 250 is out. Plus the boat stays in Havasu, so I don't need to tow it but to and fro the ramp.
Baby is coming soon, so need to ditch the BMW 325ci and get something else with 4 doors.
