    They were devoted, just as our soldiers are now. They also deserve respect.
    They were misled... having been to Dachau, the Americans were not mistreated like the Russians/Gypsies/Jews were. A whole different place, and they pay tons of respect to Americans for the liberation. Just my .02. Jill

    Respect, treated with dignity, yes. Honored, no fvcking way.
    I've been to Dachu also, I served in Germany. I got more respect as a soldier in Austria than I ever did in Germany.
